Leading Brands in Building the Future
In the year in which we celebrate 30 years of history, we see our desire to act as a global group confirmed. And best of all: being strategic and creative partners of brands that want to make a difference in the world!
I'm in Paris for a talk at Danone, the largest BCorp on the planet, and our new client at Tátil. Here, we have already begun to see the results of the work to develop a new identity for packaging in 17 countries. It's a complex project, in which the global character must be in perfect balance with the local aspects of each culture, which are so relevant in the culinary world.
The challenge has been to translate into shapes, colors, textures and especially into storytelling the forceful movement that Danone has made towards being a leading brand in the areas of healthy eating, social and environmental responsibility. Its CEO, Emmanuel Faber, is already a benchmark as a representative of a new global corporate mindset, personally committing to bold goals such as reducing the impact of packaging and investing in fair trade practices throughout the production chain with small farmers and growers, which ensures access to the best ingredients.
The best thing about working with brands like Danone is having the incredible opportunity to learn with each new briefing or conversation, like the one I had yesterday with Luciana Feres, the brand's global vice president — which we will soon share with you in a series of videos.
The topic was precisely the challenges of putting together a bold value proposition like Danone's. How can the short-term demands of the business be reconciled with the strategic objectives and commitments of a Bcorp? Or, also, about the role of branding, design and innovation in building leading brands.
On November 29, exactly 30 years to the day that Gustavo, Patrícia and I began to design the story of Tátil, we will take an important step towards our future. We will announce the evolution of our positioning and a new visual identity. More than ever, we will be at the service of what has motivated us from the beginning: being creative and strategic partners of brands that truly want to make a difference in building a desirable future.
