Sementes de Futuros is a new collaborative platform built to gather initiatives, projects and ideas with impact in an open catalog. It launched during Brasil Futures Forum (BFF), in Rio de Janeiro, from August 22 to 24, 2026.
The idea is simple. Anyone can plant a seed, meaning register a piece of research, a social technology, a community project, an innovation, an initiative of their own or one they have come across somewhere in the world. The bank is organized by category and linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which makes it possible to find initiatives by starting from a concrete challenge, whether social, environmental, economic or one of governance.
The project comes from a conviction. The best answers to the challenges of our time already exist. They were born where people live, work and have solved real problems. Sementes de Futuros exists to give those answers form, through an online repository that brings whoever has an idea closer to whoever can take it further.
"We are not trying to build a catalog of ready-made answers. We want a space where good ideas can circulate, find new contexts and transform. Every seed is a future in potential." Fred Gelli, CEO of Tátil Design, curator and speaker at BFF.
